Authentic and charming ambiance; friendly hosts; delicious homemade breakfast. One of the best features of my stay at Owlstay Jiufen Wander was the authentic and charming ambiance of the house. I loved how they have preserved the traditional feel, with antique collectibles and a cozy living room. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Not to mention, the homemade breakfast with fresh-baked bread was absolutely delightful. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a great stay at this hotel! the location is fantastic, situated in the old districts in the hill. It's a charming old house, away from the crowds but still nearby the action. Secondly, the staff were really lovely and provided excellent service. They even went on a night walk with guests, which was such a unique experience. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable with comfy beds and basic amenities. The highlight was the breakfast with fresh baked bread, it was absolutely delicious!
No complaints, everything was perfect!

I loved the location of the hotel - it was nestled in the old districts on the hill, away from the tourist spots and offered incredible views. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious - especially the fresh baked bread. But what stood out the most was the staff. They were so warm and welcoming, even offering us a free night tour of the city. Kate, in particular, was super helpful and her friendly demeanor made us feel right at home.
For us, it was ideal.

During my Easter break, I stayed in a traditional, style hostel with a cozy atmosphere. the homemade breakfast was a sweet and warm touch. Plus, the location was perfect for sightseeing , close to many local shops and cultural landmarks. I enjoyed the quietness of the hostel during the day , it made for a perfect relaxation spot.
The hostel's noise level during the night as I personally had trouble sleeping. Unfortunately, the walls were not soundproof so all the sounds from the neighboring rooms came through.

This small hostel was an exceptional Christmas experience! The staff was incredibly helpful and provided us with a night tour that showed us hidden gems of the town that we would have missed otherwise. The good vibes continued with an early morning hike up a nearby mountain to catch the sunrise, an experience that we'll remember forever. The cozy and clean amenities made us feel right at home. The hostel's beautifully designed space added to the overall comfort of the stay. We particularly enjoyed the homemade breakfasts, they were delicious!
The only negative aspect of the hostel was that it was a bit small, but honestly, it added to the charm of the place. The central location made up for the hostel's small size, since it was easy to walk to nearby destinations.
